Here are the latest tools and resources shared by the Million Hearts team that may be relevant to clinicians focused on cardiac health.
- Many mobile blood pressure monitors have not been properly tested against international accuracy standards. On April 30 Hypertension Canada announced the launch of its Blood Pressure Measurement Devise Recommendation Program, a program with a two-tiered rating System (gold and silver) to help consumers choose the right mobile blood pressure monitor for self-measurement. Most of the recommended devices listed are also available in the United States.
