Meet the Experts
Nevada: Aaron Hubbard, MHA
Aaron Hubbard is a project manager at HealthInsight. He provides support for the Quality Payment Program, meaningful use, and PQRS for over 250 physician offices in the state of Nevada. Before joining HealthInsight in 2014, Mr. Hubbard worked as a business analyst where he was part of a team that implemented Lean Six Sigma principles in the hospital setting. He has a bachelor's degree in Economics and Spanish from the University of Nevada, a master's degree in Health Care Administration from UNLV and is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
New Mexico: Ryan Harmon
Project Manager, HealthInsight New Mexico
Ryan Harmon is a project manager for HealthInsight New Mexico, where he works on the health information technology, quality reporting, MACRA/MIPS and Transforming Clinical Practice Initiatives (TCPI). He joined the HealthInsight-New Mexico from Wyoming, where he worked for the state, county and city health departments on epidemiological investigations, environmental health, health education and fielded public information requests. Prior to his time with the Wyoming Department of Health, Ryan worked with an anesthesia physician group and Intermountain Health Care in Utah. He has a bachelor's degree in Community and Public Health and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Seton Hall University.
Oregon: David Smith, MBA
HIT Project Manager
David Smith has spent 20 years working with the health care systems in roles including quality improvement, marketing, electronic interoperability, electronic health record product management and supporting payment and privacy reform initiatives. He has an MBA from Westminster College and a BA from Brigham Young University.
Utah: David R. Cook
David Cook leads the HealthInsight Quality Payment Program (QPP) regional team and is the director of operations for HealthInsight Utah. Dave facilitates trainings and activities for the Health Care Innovation Awards (HCIA), working with awardees from around the country in action groups on topics related to EMS, disparities and sepsis. Dave develops and regularly presents quality improvement trainings and is a project management and health information technology consultant. Before coming to HealthInsight in 2005, Dave worked as a laboratorian for 10 years at ARUP Laboratories as a clinical toxicologist/quality manager. He has a Bachelor of Science in medicinal chemistry from the University of Utah and a master’s in business administration with a health care emphasis from Westminster College.
Utah: Brock Stoner
Brock Stoner joined HealthInsight in 2015 as a project manager and works with physician offices on quality improvement efforts. Prior to HealthInsight, Brock led patient experience improvement for a large physician group in Knoxville, Tennessee. He earned an MPH from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from Brigham Young University. He and his wife, Julie, live in Eagle Mountain, Utah and are the parents of four children.
