Patient and Family Advisory Council
HealthInsight Nevada envisions a health system where patients and the public are respected and engaged in the design and delivery of care. We partner with all Nevadans to bring clinicians and patients together to address the ever-increasing costs and complexities of our health care system. The Patient and Family Advisory Council will help us achieve our goals of improved health outcomes by providing a better understanding of the public perspective.

What we need: The voices of patients and their families are very important to understanding how health care in Nevada works. HealthInsight Nevada is creating a Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) to help us better understand the health care system from the patient's viewpoint. Patients, families and caregivers participating in the PFAC will share their personal stories and health care experiences. For example, members of the PFAC may be asked to discuss how they take care of their diabetes and high blood pressure. This patient input will be important in how we design our projects to make our health care better. We believe that patient wisdom is a "must have" factor in improving health care.
How to join the PFAC: HealthInsight Nevada is recruiting PFAC members from many different backgrounds. We welcome people from all regions of Nevada to apply. If you are looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity and want to help improve our state's health care, please consider becoming a member of HealthInsight Nevada's PFAC. Please complete our Interest Card or contact Gina Pirozzi at firstname.lastname@example.org or 702-933-7326 to receive more information about this opportunity.
