Smoking Rates are Down, but Disparities within Ethnic Groups Exist

A recent Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provides an analysis of smoking in the United States. The broad message is positive: smoking is down overall and also in nearly every ethnic group based on a recent survey. However, substantial disparities were found across the board. Read MMWR
