HealthInsight New Mexico Welcomes New Board Member

HealthInsight New Mexico welcomes Richard H. Draper as the newest member of its board of directors. He joins the 15-member board of directors that includes statewide representation from a variety of health care settings and disciplines as well as non-health care backgrounds.

“HealthInsight New Mexico is fortunate to have dedicated professionals such as Richard Draper on our board of directors,” said Margy Wienbar, executive director. “He brings a unique perspective to our board and to the mission of the organization: improving health care for all New Mexicans.”

Draper is a public affairs strategist and a versatile communications, corporate and managerial professional. During his career, he has been the Intel corporate public affairs director, a New Mexico media manager, and a broadcast journalist. Currently, he is the consulting interim project manager for the Sandoval County Health, Economic and Workforce Development Initiative.

Mr. Draper received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Santa Clara School of Law in Santa Clara, Calif., and his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and international relations from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, Calif.
