HealthInsight New Mexico Executive Director Promoted to Senior Vice President

decorationHealthInsight New Mexico has announced that Wm. Boyd Kleefisch, FACHE, FAAMA, has been promoted from state executive director to senior vice president for corporate operations for the HealthInsight three-state enterprise. He has served as executive director since November 2011 and prior to that was New Mexico’s chief operating officer for eight years. A search to fill the executive director position is underway, and Kleefisch is fulfilling both posts in the interim.

“Boyd's extensive health care experience resulted in his selection from a number of highly qualified candidates," said Marc Bennett, HealthInsight CEO.  “I am confident Boyd will continue to advance the enterprise with the same effectiveness that he exhibited in his previous positions.”

Kleefisch is a board certified health care executive with nearly 40 years of experience. As a career health care administrator, he has assumed progressive responsibility in medical services management, finance, information technology, manpower/staffing, personnel, education, quality improvement, and recruiting in a variety of organizations including Lovelace Health Systems in Albuquerque, Hawaii Health Systems Corporation Maui Region, and many military facilities during his 24 years of service in the United States Air Force. Kleefisch is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and he is on the board of directors of the local chapter of the organization, New Mexico Healthcare Executives. He earned his Master of Science degree in management from Troy State University.
